OUR COLLECTION — LATIN AMERICA — BAHAMAS 488. WOVEN HOLY FAMILY
This Holy Family is made from dyed woven fiber in the Bahamas. The Family resides in a stable made from painted wood with a woven straw roof. The blue star on the front of the stable is a formed starfish, which is a clever emblem of the tropical islands that make up the Bahamas. The stable measures 7.75 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide.
The scene was made by Byron Glinton. He signed his name on the bottom of the stable. Byron lives in Nassau, Bahamas and works in the tourism industry at a local resort.
