This Nativity scene was hand-carved into an ostrich egg shell by Risto Iita, who is a university student and Christian in Namibia. The egg sits on a base that Risto coiled by hand from simple wire. The ostrich egg is approximately 5.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. The stand is 6 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide.
