OUR COLLECTION — AFRICA — TANZANIA 233. CLAY NATIVITY
This 8-piece Nativity set is hand-sculpted from clay by Tanzanian artisan George Shija. His mother is also a ceramic artist. He finds his inspiration in his Catholic background and he hopes that customers will learn more about Africa through his art. The unglazed pieces include: Mary holding baby Jesus, Joseph, an angel, a shepherd carrying a lamb, a standing sheep, and three wise men. The tallest standing piece measures 4 inches tall.
